Mouser Electronics, Inc. now stocks the IIS3DWBG1 vibration sensor from STMicroelectronics.

The device is a three-axis digital vibration sensor with low noise over an ultrawide and flat frequency range. This sensor offers a selectable full-scale acceleration range of ±2g, ±4g, ±8g, or ±16g and is capable of measuring accelerations with a bandwidth of up to 6kHz. The vibration sensor delivers high performance with low power consumption, featuring a digital output. This sensor integrates a 3kB First-In, First-Out (FIFO) buffer to prevent data loss and reduce host processor intervention. The vibration sensor features an ultralow noise density of 75µg/√Hz in three-axis mode and 60µg/√Hz in single-axis mode. This sensor is available in a 14-lead plastic, LGA package.

Typical applications include industrial equipment, electric and hybrid vehicles, condition monitoring, test and measurements, and predictive maintenance.
