Robust sensor solutions for industrial HVAC and building automation

19-02-2026 | E+E Elektronik | Test & Measurement

E+E Elektronik will be showcasing sensors that enable energy optimisation, rapid system integration and long-term stable measurements and more at MCE 2026. Under the motto "Efficiency you can measure", it will present solutions with a clear focus on accuracy and stability as the basis for effective building management strategies and reliable control in challenging environments. In efficiency becomes tangible: the company will showcase sensor solutions that enable operators and system integrators optimise processes in measurable ways, particularly in data centres and the food industry, where robust measurement technology and reliable data are critical for energy savings, quality and operational reliability.

The company develops and manufactures sensors designed for the highest accuracy, long-term reliability and easy integration – qualities that are crucial in HVAC and building automation. It will demonstrate how accuracy and stability in measurement translate into measurable efficiency gains in day-to-day operation at the show.

In data centres, measurement accuracy is not a technical detail but a direct lever for efficiency: anyone looking to raise server inlet temperatures or precisely control airflow rates deliberately requires reliable, reproducible measurements of temperature, air velocity, humidity and pressure. This allows more stable control, reduces unnecessary safety margins, lowers cooling energy demand and provides the basis for implementing efficiency measures safely – without compromising uptime.

As one example, the company will present the HTS401, a high-precision humidity and temperature sensor with a temperature accuracy of up to ±0.1 C.

For the first time in Europe, the company will present its new TDS501 dew point sensor. The sensor provides continuous dew-point data down to -70C Td, allowing uninterrupted 24/7 process monitoring and stable control loops. Thanks to its robust industrial design and straightforward integration via analogue and digital interfaces, the sensor helps reduce energy consumption, service effort and unplanned maintenance interventions.

The company will also showcase a wide cross-section of its product portfolio at the show. Visitors can experience around 30 sensors and sensing elements live, including the latest product innovations from recent months:

The new generation of the proven multifunctional handheld meter, Omniport 40, focuses on increased efficiency and reduced costs, particularly in maintenance. A wide selection of probes enables on-site measurement of temperature, humidity, air velocity, dew point down to -60C, oil moisture and CO₂.

The HTS401 delivers state-of-the-art humidity and temperature measurement that is fail-safe, highly accurate and ready for the toughest environments. With measurement accuracy of up to ±0.95% RH and ±0.1C and an operating range from -40C to +80C, the HTS401 integrates flexibly into a wide range of applications – from outdoor installations to cleanroom environments.

The AVS701 sets new benchmarks for measuring air and gas flow velocity – proven to be up to 20 times more durable in harsh environments. Maximum efficiency and process reliability are ensured through highly accuratemeasurements, easy installation thanks to precise sensor positioning and an integrated process gas library. The optional external pressure sensor also compensates for changes in ambient pressure.

In an interactive experience zone, visitors can put the company's sensors and their strengths to the test firsthand.

Visit the company at MCE 2026, Hall 11P, Stand E19, in Milan from 24-27 March 2026.
