With the Intel Core Ultra Series 3 processors, Rutronik has expanded its portfolio with a new generation of powerful and energy-efficient mobile processors. The series incorporates a modern hybrid architecture, integrated AI acceleration and future-ready connectivity, addressing AI PCs and premium notebooks. Also, Series 3 processors are, for the first time, tested and certified for embedded and industrial use cases at the edge.
The processor is based on an advanced hybrid architecture featuring P-cores, E-cores and LP-E cores. With up to 16 cores, the processors deliver a balanced combination of high computing performance and optimised energy efficiency, a key requirement for mobile systems and compact platforms.
Within the series, Intel clearly differentiates between distinct target segments. The Intel Core Ultra 5/7/9 processors are designed for high-performance consumer and business notebooks as well as mainstream AI PCs. They offer strong single- and multicore performance, integrated AI capabilities and, depending on the SKU, an Intel Arc GPU for graphics-intensive applications and content creation.
Complementing these, the Intel Core Ultra X7 and X9 processors are equipped with the highest performing Intel Arc graphics. The top SKUs feature up to 16 CPU cores, 12 Xe-cores and 50 NPU Tops, aimed at multitaskers that handle advanced workloads like gaming, creation and productivity on the go.
A key feature of the Series 3 is its integrated AI acceleration. In addition to CPU and GPU resources, the processors include a dedicated Intel NPU that processes AI workloads locally and with high energy efficiency. This allows modern AI PC and edge applications, including image and speech processing, local inference models and intelligent automation functions.
