Power-dense modules deliver exceptional versatility

12-02-2026 | RECOM Power | Power

The new RECOM RPMVH-0.5 series of cost-effective, non-isolated buck regulator modules delivers 0.5A of output at fully regulated nominal voltages of 3.3, 5, 12, or 24VDC, with inputs that can vary up to 115VDC. Efficiencies of up to 90% and a thermally enhanced package allow the modules to operate at full power, reaching temperatures as high as 100C, with derating to 120C. The series products include trimmable outputs, sequencing, on/off control, and power good signals. The series is the latest member of the company's RPM family series (RPM, RPMB, RPMH), bringing the highest input voltage range in the class.

Presented in a miniature 12.19mm x 12.19mm x 3.75mm DOSA-compatible LGA package, the parts also feature six-sided shielding for optimal EMC performance and excellent heat management. Over-temperature, over-current, and short circuit protection are included, and the parts meet the EN 55032 'Class B' conducted emission standard with a simple external filter.

"The very high maximum input voltage and wide operating temperature for these devices make them ideal for systems in harsh environments with varying nominal supplies or where surges and transients might occur," comments Stanislav Suchovsky, MSc, technology engineer of RECOM.

Parts include a three-year warranty and samples are available.
