New half-rack compact class added to proven interconnect range

The existing variants of the ODU-MAC Black-Line offer up to 4,608 signal points,  making them real heavyweights in test and measurement. However, not every ODU Connector customer requires this, hence the new Compact Class.     

The Compact Class needs only half the width of a classic 19" test cabinet. 

It offers up to 1,536 signal points. Characterised by its user-friendliness, the mechanical coding prevents the receiver from mismating and, thanks to condition monitoring by means of a microswitch, it is possible to determine whether the docking process has been completed, making testing processes more convenient and safer. 

There are three options to choose from for the receiver: 

  • Housing Option – enables ergonomic handling and reliable locking by hand lever 

  • ITA (Interchangeable Test Adapter) Option – easily integrate common test equipment  

  • Connector Option – with ODU-MAC Rapid connectors. 

  • There is also a 600A power block with two 16mm Lamtac Flex contacts
