Compact 10-15W medical and ITE grade wall mount adapter series

TRUMPower has announced its new TMW10N, TMW12N, and TMW15N wall mount adapter series for medical and ITE applications. The power supplies are extremely versatile with multiple single output voltages, interchangeable AC plugs, and the ability to be equipped with various connectors. These power adapters have a compact design of 2.3” x 1.8” x 1.6”, making them best suited for applications requiring small footprints.

The TMW10N and TMW15N power supplies come with 5VDC outputs, while the TMW12N power supply is available with five single output voltages of 5.1, 6.2, 9, 12, and 24VDC. All the power supplies can be equipped with AC plugs supporting Australia, China, Europe, the United Kingdom, or the United States, which allows flexibility across multiple regions. The standard output connector is a 2.1mm x 5.5mm x 9.5mm centre positive straight barrel plug, but additional connector options are available upon request.

The power adapters have a withstand voltage of 4,000VAC from input to output (2x MOPP) and touch current less than 100µA. The units are designed for operation altitudes up to 5,000m and have operating temperatures between -20C to +40C ambient. The power supplies are extremely reliable with an MTBF of 300,000 hours minimum, calculated per Telcordia SR-332 at full load and 25C ambient.

The TMW10N, TMW12N, and TMW15N are approved by UL, cUL and TUV to the latest medical standards, including IEC/EN/UL 60601-1 (Edition 3.2), ANSI/AAMI ES 60601-1 (Edition 3.2), and CSA C22.2 No. 60601-1 (Edition 3.2). The power adapters are also approved to the latest ITE standards of UL/IEC/EN 62368-1 (3rd Edition).
